oTakhi Platform Blurs the Line Between Desktop and Web File Systems
While your folders and files are hosted remotely in our secure database,
oTakhi lets you work with them like their regular desktop counterparts.
To add a folder or file to your personal vault, simply drag-n-drop them from your
desktop to the oTakhi vault tree. You can also re-arrange your vault
by drag-n-drop each individual item within the tree.
Other standard operations such as cut-n-paste, copy-n-paste, rename, and delete are
readily accessible from the pop-up menu that appears on each right click.
oTakhi Condenser Lets You Create Mashups, Hybrids, and Completely New "Species" of Web Applications that are Previously Impossible Using Other Softwares
oTakhi Condenser allows deep integration of data pulled from different sources and even from different domains. For instance, with the embedded web browser, you can simply drag images,
anchors, and text directly off a web page and drop them into your vault. Bookmarks (links) and text files are instantly created and can be used to create mashups by simply drag-n-drop
them into droplets. The AJAX molecule can get/post data from/to different web servers of different domains. The Client and Server molecules
let you create P2P applications or remote agents that, given proper permission, can listen and serve connection requests and thereby completely bypass oTakhi Server.
Creating Interactive and Event-Driven Web Applications is a Snap using oTakhi Condenser
oTakhi Droplets can be made event-aware by adding the Event Recevier Molecule. Through this Molecule, droplets
can respond to custom events, in addition to the standard User Interface events such as mouse and keyboard events. Using the Messenger Molecule or the Timer Molecule, custom data
can be passed along with the events (data such as javascript objects, arrays, and variables).
By adding Script Molecules, a droplet can perform different
actions based on the event it receives. For example, a QuickTime Molecule can play different animations in separate ranges of frames when triggered by different events.
oTakhi Application - Web Site Reinterpreted
Today, to have your own web site, you need to pay ISP a recurring monthly fee and still your web presence is limited to one single domain.
Built upon a secure server database and a new protocol handler in the client, oTakhi Application is a new virtualization technique that lets you
run multiple web sites from the same server and as separated web applications.
An oTakhi Application has the same file/folder sturcture as a regular web site. You can populate its content by
simply drag-n-drop files from the desktop or from oTakhi Condenser into the application folder. Members that you share an applicaiton with can
simply double-click on its icon to launch your application.
Each oTakhi Application can be Launched as Stand-Alone Desktop Applicaiton
Each oTakhi application can be exported to the desktop and launched as a stand-alone desktop application.
This is called Distraction Free Browsing (DFB), where users of your web application interact only with your contents and nothing else.
Imaging having a single window to your web site while you have total control of a user's experience from the beginning to the end.
oTakhi is a Groundbreaking Cloud-Based Game Development and Publishing Platform
Today, game development outfits are like exclusive clubs. Getting in requires forbiddingly high admission fee. In addition to masterful 3D modeling skill,
you need exceptional knowledge of C/C++ or even assembly language programming.
oTakhi platform changes all that. Integrating powerful game engine within a browser engine, oTakhi platform allows
any web developer to create games without writing a single line of low-level code.
Furthermore, because of oTakhi's unique component-based architechture and
communal development environment, members can share 3D digital assets not only as individual files but also as autonomous
entities made of multiple 3D models, sound tracks, and behavior.
oTakhi Condenser Tightly Integrates Google Map API, Even at the Event Level
oTakhi Condenser integrates and exposes most of the Google Map API through the GMap Molecule. With this molecule, Google Map internal events are elevated to
the document level and detectable by any droplets with properly configured Event Receiver Molecule. This makes possible and even simple to create sophisticated
interactive map application. The Google Client GeoCoder is also included, letting you find and mark any address on the map dynamically. Furthermore, the Canvas Molecule
lets you create 2D graphic overlay on the map. Graphic shapes and attributes can be animated via Script and Timer Molecules.
oTakhi Condenser Supports Both XML and JSON, Which Makes It Easy to Interface With Third-Party Web Services and Applicaitons
oTakhi XML Molecule is a XML generator, parser, validator, and transformer. The generator takes simple XPATH-like expressions, /Data/Element/Child, and outputs the corresponding
XML string. The AJAX and XML molecules together make it possible to access wide range of web services available online today.
(e.g. Services that use RSS, REST protocols.) All javascript objects within a document can be turned into JSON strings by using the build-in toJSON() method
and back into javascript objects using the fromJSON() method.
oTakhi Condenser Enables You to Create Reusable Online Forms and Visualize Form Data in Different Ways
With the Text/HTML Molecule, it is easy to create portable forms. Data submitted during form post, or via XMLHttpRequest,
is automatically converted into encrypted XML and appended with the submitter's XML-Signature. These XMLs are then collected by the oTahki server. At any time, the owner
can use the Common Code Request and eXchange protocol (CCRX) Molecule to query server database for responses collected and the XML Molecule to parse out the data. The data can be visualized
using Canvas Molecule for charting, GMap Molecule for GeoCoding, etc. Finally, a build-in form viewer lets you browse data
inside the very form that collects them.
Access Control Manager Lets You Decide Who Has What Type of Access to Which of Your Files and Folders at All Times
oTakhi Platform gives you full Discretionary Access Control (DAC) over all your folders and files. Using the drag-n-drop interface of the Access Control Manager,
it is easy to add/remove a member or a group to/from your files or a folders' Read and Write Access Control Lists (ACLs). The most powerful feature of all
is that your ACLs are also scriptable via the Common Code Request and eXchange protocol (CCRX) Molecule. CCRX is an HTTP-like protocol
for accessing shared data resources in the oTakhi Network. But unlike HTTP, CCRX is governed by the network-wide access control policies and
enforced by the underlying Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
oTakhi Platform - An Ultimate Groupware for the Semantic Web
oTakhi Platform provides the essential communal environment for developing and sharing
next-generation of semantic web and social networking applications.
Each member can add friends and family to his/her buddy list, start a special interest group, or join an existing group.
Associated with each shared file are secure messaging forum and Internet Relay Chat (IRC) that only members in
the Read Access Control List can access. On the login page is the community driven front page news - collection of
images and links to stories that any member can submit and share with the whole community.
oTakhi Condenser Features Component-Based Development Methodology Giving Your Projects Multiple Levels of Reusability
At the application level, each saved oTakhi applicaiton can be shared and embedded in other members' applicaitons
through the IFrame Molecule. At the formation/page level, each saved formation can be shared and used by other members' projects, in whole or in parts.
At the droplet level, each saved droplet and its molecules can be shared across projects with drag-n-drop ease.
In this component-based development environment, Group members can collaborate on a complex project by working on individual components and later combine them in different ways.
Privacy, Privacy, Privacy
Each member in the oTakhi network is identified by his/her nickname.
All other information in a user's profile
is discretionary and can be modified at any time.
Your data files in the vault are always encrypted and only members with your explicit permission can read or write to them.
In terms of privacy, oTakhi Platform goes beyond what a normal browser can provide
because it is a dedicated private network built on a proven PKI technology.
